Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES:  

• Drive a school vehicle over assigned routes. 

• Supervise students’ behavior, loading and unloading of the school bus. 

• Wash outside front and rear of bus as necessary and sweep interior. 

• Follow all New York State Motor Vehicle and Department of Transportation Laws, State Education and local school district rules and regulations.

Job Qualifications

 

• Fingerprint Clearance

• High School Diploma or GED or higher

• Have or obtain a New York State Commercial Driver's License under DMV Article 19A 

• Good driving record  

• Pass State Education and School physicals 

• Must attend all classes of instruction required by New York State Education Department. 

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
